Some people are couple goals like Beyonce and Jay-z, but others are just forgettable, like Ariana Grande or having a girls night in, just  like on an episode of “The Carrie Diaries.” There are so many ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day, because everyone out there is in a different situation. My situation will definitely include snacks, friends and Netflix.

According to a survey conducted by Glamour, “30 percent [of people] said they will spend the day with friends if they find themselves single on Valentine’s Day.” This seems very understandable because no-one really wants to complain all alone about being single. It’s more fun when you have friends to complain about, or friends who will completely make you forget about all your troubles.

In a like manner, there’s always a way to switch up girls night and add some spice. You don’t have to just sit around on the couch watching Netflix all night. One super cool idea I’d love to try is having a Valentine’s Day party, so you could make new friends or meet a new guy. To switch it up, you could celebrate alone. You could give yourself candy, gifts and maybe even go out on a date alone. There’s nothing wrong with being single as long as your happy and not stressing out.

On another note, if your situation is ideal, then you’ll be with your bae. The love will be in the air and the gifts will be flowing.
As found in an article called Fewer, consumers celebrating Valentine’s Day, but those who do are spending more,“Total spending is expected to be $20.7 billion, which is an increase of 6 percent over last year’s $19.6 billion.” Wow! This number, of course, represents all Americans, but still, that’s a lot of money. Love will make you go all out for your mate and give them the best and most expensive gifts.

Ultimately, I think Valentine’s Day is a holiday not to miss, and one you should celebrate in whatever unique or traditional way that you want.
